Top 10 Indoor Pickleball Courts to Stay Out of the Las Vegas Heat
My fellow desert pickleball enthusiasts,
it’s just too hot to play outside! Sure, you can play in the morning before the sun comes up but this weekend has been the hottest of the year in Las Vegas, and we need alternatives! We’ve reached out to local players, community centers, and businesses, and here’s the truth: we are in desperate need of indoor courts. Las Vegas lags behind in pickleball facilities, especially indoor ones.
But there is hope! Your top option right now is Vegas Indoor Pickleball, which offers three dedicated courts and is ready for open play most of the day. However, finding available players can still be a challenge. Another option is to gather four players and rent a court at the Tarkanian Center. Beyond that, you’ll need to rely on the limited availability at community centers. Although the times are limited, there are consistent players for open play at all skill levels.
If you’re used to playing outdoors, it might take a few games to adjust to gym floors. But once you do, it will feel just like the pickleball game you’ve been working hard to improve.

#2) Tarkanian Basketball Academy

While primarily a basketball facility, the Tarkanian Basketball Academy also offers indoor pickleball courts. The courts are spacious and have a good surface for playing pickleball.
The facility is well-equipped, making it a great place to play pickleball.

Chuck Minker Sports Complex is another excellent indoor facility. 3 indoor courts makes for a busy gym. However, they rotate courts quickly and have instructors on site.

Paradise Recreation Center is located just North of Sunset park. If you frequent Sunset and you cant stand the heat. Paradise is a perfect option for the summer months.
