HONCHO BEGINNER (FEMALE OR MIXED GENDER TEAMS) LEAGUE OVERVIEW

Comfortable with the basics and looking to test your skills? We’ve got the league for you! This Honcho Beginner League is for either all female teams or mixed male and female teams to push themselves and their pickle abilities!

If you’re new-er to the sport and either don’t know what a DUPR rating is (learn more here!) or have a rating below 3.0, this is your battleground. While we welcome newbies, we do hope/expect all players to have played pickleball at least a few times before and to understand the rules and scoring protocols! If you play less than once a week, this is likely the spot for you!

SEASON AND MATCH DETAILS

• Season Duration: Dive into 6 weeks of intense regular-season play, followed by a thrilling 2-week playoff.
• Match Format: Each match is structured with a best-of-3-games setup. First to 11 points and win by at least 2.
• Match Start Times: Your weekly match will be scheduled within the greater time block on that same day of the week throughout the course of the season. Match start times may vary from one week to the next and will be reflected on the shared league schedule.
